Basic care means support with the everyday things that suddenly become difficult. We help respectfully and at a pace that suits you – while encouraging what you can still do yourself.

What is included

Personal care
Washing, showering or bathing, mouth, hair and skin care – respecting your habits and your privacy.
Dressing and undressing
Help with getting dressed and undressed, including compression stockings, and with bandaging legs.
Eating and drinking
Support at mealtimes and an attentive eye on whether you are drinking enough.
Mobility and positioning
Getting up, walking, transferring and comfortable positioning – for more safety and mobility in everyday life.
Toileting
Discreet support with going to the toilet and with incontinence products.
Prevention
We watch out for pressure sores, fall risks and restricted mobility and take targeted steps to prevent them.

Funding

Basic care prescribed by a doctor (Art. 7 para. 2 let. c KLV) is a compulsory benefit of health insurance under the KVG. The deductible, co-payment and patient contribution according to the rate list apply.
